Internet Explorer 9

March 17, 2011

Just curious, if anybody has tested out this new browser setting another gold standard in the already volatile browser market?

Lets simply look at

Minimalism, Speed, Stability, Security, Customization

It has been updated to look as close to competitors as possible. Chrome has set the minimalism standard and I feel other browser makers are following suit. This a great thing because most people don’t have a 60″ Plasma to display their web pages on. It is as smooth looking as a browser can be while maintaining the best amount of screen real estate. In short its for the frugal and those who indulge in standard website browsing.

Many browsers are making leaps and bounds to the next performance limits daily. Standards compliance is constantly being updated and the web will be displayed with more interactivity with its users than ever before.

Usually when products first come off the self they experience problems because the Quality Control isn’t great. Well its the same with browsers, when you first download a new browser you should only expect it to work and not crash. Whether it displays all your favourite websites to your liking is another thing. Don’t expect too much from Internet Explorer 9, give it some time to sand out its browser before going it a green light to fully install on all your computers.

Security is tough,  locks were made to be broken. There is no indefinite security but you can always try you best to keep your browser up to date. Patch those holes before hackers start to see your life story on Facebook.

Customization is quite limited in my opinion. There are no add ons you find in other browsers like the proclaimed ad-block plus. Themes are few and little more can be done.

Comments would be appreciated

Remain Simple,

Keeping it simple, one step at a time.
